We announce the release of Version 8.0.32 of the GDS with some interesting improvements. For the first time, the definition of the Type of Family has been added when assigning the parents of a person. Until this version, a father and a mother were always assigned. New options are included when defining the family situation. These are A) The traditional Father and Mother, B) Two Fathers, C) Two Mothers and D) Not specified.
At the time of registering a new person, it is compared if there is one or more people in the Database with the same name and surname. In this version the comparison is improved based on normalizing the name and surnames, eliminating accents, rare letters and irrelevant prefixes.
